Adoration for Children: Saturday, 8 December 2018, 3 - 5:30pm (including party)

Our most recent monthly session of Adoration for Children took place from 3:00 - 5:30 pm on Saturday, 8 December, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was a most enjoyable celebration for children and parents alike!

The special format this month included a Christmas Party:
  • Short talk given by a parent
  • Period of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, with brief reflections and prayers led by a parent. There are gaps to permit the children to speak to Jesus in their own words.
  • Christmas Party around the Crib, with Carols, Refreshments and Games

Most of the children are included in this photo. It's not easy to get them all in together!

I recommend that priests, religious men and women, as well as lay people, continue and intensify their efforts to make the younger generation aware of the meaning and value of adoration and Eucharistic devotion. How can young people know the Lord if they are not introduced into the mystery of his presence?
