Church remains open for private prayer as you pass by on your walk

Celebration of Sunday & weekday Masses with public has been suspended until further notice.
See Communications from Archbishop Martin here (includes 1 April 2020 update), regarding the application of Government restrictions on movement etc.

To facilitate your coming to pray as you pass by on your walk, Our Lady Queen of Peace will be open from:
  • 08:00 - 20:00 on weekdays
  • 09:30 - 20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays
The Archbishop asks everyone to please respect social distancing scrupulously. Health authorities advise maintaining a distance of 2 metres.

Fr Fergus is now cocooned at home. Fr James will normally be available in the church from 10:00 - 13:00 each day.

It is important that we pray for each other during this testing time, especially remembering those who are ill and front-line health workers, many of whom worship in our church.

Since it will not be possible to physically attend Mass on Sundays or weekdays, one may follow Mass on TV, Radio or Internet and here.
When you cannot go to God's House, it's even more necessary to invite him into your own home.
