Adoration for Children: Saturday 1 April at 4pm

The next session of Adoration for Children will take place on Saturday 1 April at 4pm. It will be livestreamed here.

The format (1 hour in total) is:
  • Short class given by catechist (younger children may meanwhile colour holy pictures)
  • Period of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (around 10 minutes), with brief reflections and prayers led by a parent. There are gaps to permit the children to speak to Jesus in their own words.
  • Refreshments and Games (outdoors, if weather permits)
I recommend that priests, religious men and women, as well as lay people, continue and intensify their efforts to make the younger generation aware of the meaning and value of adoration and Eucharistic devotion. How can young people know the Lord if they are not introduced into the mystery of his presence?
St John Paul II,  28 May 1996
