Bishop Ray Field celebrated 12 noon Mass on Sunday, 6 March 2016 (Laetare Sunday)

News

A month after the Diocesan Celebration of World Day of the Sick in our parish, Bishop Ray Field (Diocesan Committee for the World Day of the Sick) returned to celebrate Mass at 12 noon on Sunday, 6 March 2016.

At the end of Mass Trish Conway (Chair of the Diocesan Committee for the World Day of the Sick) spoke and thanked our parish for the manner we had hosted the WDOS celebration on 7 February 2016.

Bishop Field presented a beautiful plaque commemorating the event to Fr Fergus and certificates to many of the student volunteers from local schools who participated in the WDOS and looked after the sick so well.
