St Josemaría Escrivá is known as the Saint of Ordinary Life. At the invitation of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Fr Paul O’Callaghan gave a lecture on the topic Is Christ Present in our Society? in the light of St Josemaría’s teachings and, in particular, his homily Christ’s Presence in Christians.
Fr Paul, who is from Dublin, is Professor of Christian Anthropology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome, and fellow of the Pontifical Academy of Theology.
In the course of the lecture, Fr Paul referred to an article he had written some years ago: The Inseparability of Holiness and Apostolate. The Christian, alter Christus, ipse Christus, in the Writings of Blessed Josemaría Escrivá.
