Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish
Since 2008, priests of the Opus Dei Prelature have been entrusted with the pastoral care of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
We offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation 365 days of the year and celebrate Mass at 12 noon, 362 days of the year. Merrion Road Church is also well known for its 9pm Mass on Sundays, which is attended not only by parishioners but also by many visiting faithful.
On this site you will find more information on our parish, along with resources and links for faith development. This fits with our Mission of being a place of welcome and support to all faithful, especially those who are busy working and rearing families.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven
On Sat 15 August we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be at 10am and 12 noon.
Eucharistic Adoration
All are welcome to join us for our weekly Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday from 7 to 8pm. Confessions are available.
Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 3rd – 8th September 2026 in the Partnership Parishes of Donnybrook, Booterstown, Milltown and Merrion Road Led by Fr Gerard Tyrrell. St Vincent de Paul
The monthly collection for the St Vincent de Paul takes place after all Masses this weekend.
Summer Dues
The Archbishop wishes to thank parishioners for their support of priests, in particular through the Summer Dues contributions. If you have not already submitted a Summer Offering, and would like to, please find envelopes for Summer Offerings on the tables in the church.
Tax relief
Your contributions to weekend collections can yield up to 40% more when you avail of tax relief in favour of the Parish. Envelopes to allow you to track your weekly contributions are now available for collection in the Sacristy or from the Parish Office. If you have any queries about availing of tax relief, please contact Mandy, the Parish Secretary, during Office Hours, Mon to Fri
