Solemn Mass honouring St Josemaría Escrivá on Saturday 30 June 2018 at 12 noon

News

On Saturday 30 June at 12 noon, Fr Justin Gillespie, Opus Dei’s vicar for Ireland celebrated a Solemn Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace in honour of St Josemaría Escrivá, Founder of Opus Dei, who died on 26 June 1975.

A very large congregation, which reflected all generations, attended. An innovation this year, was the serving of refreshments afterwards from a marquee erected in the grounds. The beautiful weather made this a wonderful opportunity for people to meet and greet.
