The liturgy of our 12 noon Mass on Sunday 17 April was enhanced by the beautiful hymns sung in Kiswahili by a choir from Kianda School in Nairobi. The girls were on a two-week exchange programme with Rosemont School in Sandyford. The previous week they made a much appreciated visit to St Mary’s Centre Nursing Home nearby on Merrion Road. There they met residents in the Loyola House Nursing Unit and sang for them.

Fr Fergus had been an assistant chaplain in Kianda for 2 years in 2004-2005 and it brought back many happy memories.
